Every Tuesday in term time we open our ICT rom to the public. Feel free to drop in to use a computer and have a coffee. You can surf the web or just practice your skills.
Stay for 2 minutes or 2 hours, it’s up to you. No need to book, just drop in.
You are welcome to bring along your class notes/booklet if you have them or just call in to have a practice. We want to offer these sessions for free to help you put your learning into practice. Paula Saxton will be on hand to answer any basic queries you may have.
 Free CSCS Card & Construction Skills Training
On January Wed 18th we will be offering unemployed people access to free training which leads to the Construction Skills Certification Scheme exam so that learners can apply for a CSCS card.
The training will run from 9.15-4.15pm. The training will cover 1.General Construction Site Safety 2.Asbestos Awareness 3. Work at Height 4.Manual Handling 5. CSCS Card Exam Preparation.
The course will take place at the Handsworth Parish Centre and is open to anyone who is unemployed or working 16hrs or less. More information will be added to this site int he coming weeks but if you are interested in the course please contact Paula Saxton on 07952138624.
