SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Sport In the Community - Handsworth Bears Club. Sport in the Community provides local clubs designed to introduce children and young people to the sporting world. These sessions will result in a Super League Central Venue competition once a month, each time featuring a different sport. The Handsworth Bears is an open club based at Handsworth Grange Sports College, starting Tuesday 1st June 5.00 pm – 6.00 pm, running weekly. Cost: £1.00 Ages: 8 – 16yrs. Bring drinks.
Watch It Session for overweight children and young people aged between 7-14.

Handsworth Children’s Centre (0-5 Years)

Based at Athelstan Primary School, Children’s Centres are a new way of supporting families with children under 5. The types of activities you may find in your Children’s Centre include baby and toddler activities, speech and language sessions, child development courses, holiday fun club, play and stay sessions and drop-in sessions by midwives and health visitors. All Children's Centres are open from 8am to 6pm, 48 weeks per year.
